Industrial Automation
Since
February 1983, PCE has been designing electronic components and industrial
automation.
The company is divided into two separate, but intercommunicating departments : electronics and electro-mechanics.
Plant and machinery: test equipment for rail coaches, industrial textile machinery, machinery for the food industry, automatic assembly machinery, automatic irrigation systems, automatic galvanising systems.
Design and build : electric and electronic boards, data acquisition systems, electronic cards, custom-designed cards, software for PC and for PLC
PCE
can supply all types of electrical boards, platforms or control decks,
including boards to comply with special terms of contract. All boards
conform to EC regulations – on request, we can supply boards to
U.S. or Canadian norms (UL or CSA). PCE specialises in control systems
and electronic cards personalised to suit customer requirements : hardware
and if necessary software development in Assembler or C++. Integrating
several functions on one card is quite normal, on average, PCE develops
one new card per month – and the price-performance ratio of a custom-produced
card is unbeatable.
PCE’s main partners include : since 1987, Landucci S.R.L, world-leader for pasta dies and pasta machinery, other important names in Italy’s food industry, such as Barilla, Buitoni, De Cecco, Plasmon; since 1985 Breda Costruzioni Ferroviarie SpA, (now ANSALDOBREDA SpA), an uninterrupted collaboration with the inspection and QC sectors, for which PCE has designed and built much special testing equipment; since 1990, Santalucia S.R.L. for whom PCE has completed all designs and electronic components for automation of their industrial textile machinery.
